Hired as a trading system developer by a private individual, throughout a very intensive 1 1/2 year period of development, I developed in Tradestation an intermarket intraday composite chart that proved very exciting for identifying intraday swings daytrading the S&P. The first day I traded straight to the pit for my friend/client, who only had a $10,000 account (which he couldn't afford to lose but wanted me to attempt parleying into a fortune anyway). I broke even with 20 trades. The second day I lost $3200 in 20 trades, $1600 of which resulted in serious slippage on one entry order followed by execution of a protective stop. While I correctly expected the market to subsequently break sharply to the downside, I stopped trading midday based on money management principles and suggested the following day that I not trade his limited funds further. Why then might you be interested in my discovery? Because while I did not fair well on my first and only two days ever trading straight to the pit (admittedly overtrading) I believe I nevertheless created a composite tick chart (using DDL's to create global variables not otherwise available for tick charts in Tradestation), which demostrated remarkably precise intraday swing points, especially when the market was trading across previously identified swings. Why am I selling what I learned for a percentage of profit it may earn you? After my client/friend stopped trading, I promised my wife I would never trade again without her permission. I feel a strong sense of unfinished business, not having had more than two days to seriously apply one and a half years of 12 hr per day research and development. If only to recapture profit from my intense effort by sharing the profit of someone who applies my discovery, I am interest in sharing proprietary information I have not disclosed even to close relatives. I would ask $500 upfront to take time to share the details and code plus 10% of your net profits derived during the subsequent 500 trades in your account(s).
